  It does not get more Americana than this. I essentially had a smile on my face the entire time I sat there and ate and read the newspaper and chatted with the proprietor. Whenever I return to this area the Deluxe Diner is where you will find me.

  I love this place. Used to eat here when the previous owner was there, and under the new ownership the place has only gotten better. They now have more variety in their specials and their deserts, and homemade white and wheat bread options (which are insanely delicious by the way), -if you don't want to go with the normal options. While adding new items to the menu, they have also kept the same menu items that have been im place since it first opened up in the 30's & 40's (around that time anyway). The owners (sisters) are friendly and helpful and very very hands on.
  10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants good home cooking and amazing coffee. Also a good place to stop for train and history enthusiasts, as the diner is a old railway dining car. There aren't too many left that are still functional as places to eat. They have kept the interior as close as possible to the original, while still adding bits and pieces or their own personal flair.
  Favorite restaurant, hands down. ;) ♡♡♡♡♡
